KID'S MINISTRY

Washington Kids

If you are thinking of attending Washington on a Sunday morning, and are planning on bringing your children, we are here to help you out!

At Washington Church our kids are important to us. We are partnering with parents to pass on the faith to their children, raising up a generation of children who are seeking the kingdom of God, growing in community and living out what it means to be a follower of Jesus. The kids are an active part of our worship service and will . This is a great way for our kids to remain an important part of our community.

In the new born to toddler rooms we have trained child care provided during the service for you. Feel free to take advantage of this or you can choose you can keep your child with you during the service. Children can be checked in before the service. You will receive a security band with a number coded to your child. If there is ever an issue with your child during the service the number will appear on a small sign near the front entrance of the sanctuary.

The Kindergarten through fifth grade students will remain with you in the service until after the kids message in which they will go downstairs into the Washington Kids room where you will pick them up following the service.

The following is a breakdown of where your child goes based on their stage of life:

  • “Green Room” is for infants to walkers (up to 14 months)
  • “Blue Room” is for kids who are toddlers to 2.5 years
  • "Yellow Room" is for ages 2.5 through 3 years
  • “Red Room” is our “pre-school” room for kids ages 4 through Pre-k
  • “Washington Kids” program is for children in Kindergarten to 5th grade.
